How to Safely and Effectively Remove Items from Your Apple Wallet_1
How to Remove Something from Apple Wallet
Apple Wallet is a convenient and secure way to store your credit cards, loyalty cards, and other important cards right on your iPhone or Apple Watch. However, there may come a time when you need to remove a card from your Apple Wallet. Whether it’s due to a lost card, an expired card, or simply no longer needing a particular card, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to remove something from Apple Wallet.
1. Open the Wallet App
First, locate the Wallet app on your iPhone. You can find it on your home screen or in the App Library. Once you’ve opened the app, you’ll see a list of all the cards you have stored in your Apple Wallet.
2. Find the Card You Want to Remove
Scroll through the list of cards to find the one you want to remove. You can recognize each card by its logo and card number.
3. Tap the Card
Once you’ve found the card you want to remove, tap on it. This will open a detailed view of the card, including its expiration date and any available offers or rewards.
4. Tap the “Edit” Button
In the card’s detailed view, you’ll see an “Edit” button. Tap on it to enter edit mode.
5. Tap the “Delete” Button
With the card in edit mode, you’ll see a “Delete” button. Tap on it to remove the card from your Apple Wallet.
6. Confirm the Deletion
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you’re sure you want to remove the card. Tap “Delete” to confirm and remove the card from your Apple Wallet.
7. Remove the Card from Your Apple Watch (if applicable)
If you have also added the card to your Apple Watch, you’ll need to remove it from there as well. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to the “My Watch” tab, and select “Wallet & Apple Pay.” Then, tap the card you want to remove and tap “Remove.”
That’s it! You’ve successfully removed a card from your Apple Wallet. Remember that removing a card from your Apple Wallet does not cancel the card itself. If you need to cancel a card, you’ll need to contact your card issuer directly.
