How to Remove a Highlight from Instagram
In today’s digital age, Instagram has become a go-to platform for sharing moments, stories, and highlights with friends and followers. However, there may come a time when you need to remove a highlight from your profile due to various reasons. Step 1: Open Instagram and Go to Your Profile
The first step in removing a highlight is to access your Instagram profile. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone and tap on the profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page.
Step 2: Navigate to the Highlights Section
Once you’re on your profile, scroll down until you see the “Highlights” section. This section displays all the highlights you’ve created on your profile. Tap on the “Highlights” tab to view your existing highlights.
Step 3: Select the Highlight You Want to Remove
In the Highlights section, you’ll see a list of all your highlights. Find the highlight you want to remove and tap on it. This will open the highlight’s content.
Step 4: Tap on the Three Dots in the Top Right Corner

Step 5: Select “Edit Highlight”

Step 6: Swipe Left on the Post You Want to Remove
Inside the highlight, you’ll see a list of posts. To remove a post from the highlight, simply swipe left on the post you want to delete. A “Remove” option will appear; tap on it to remove the post from the highlight.
Step 7: Save Your Changes
After removing the post, you’ll be prompted to save your changes. Tap on “Save” to confirm the removal. The post will no longer be part of the highlight.
Step 8: Remove the Highlight Entirely (Optional)
If you want to remove the entire highlight from your profile, follow these additional steps:
1. Go back to your profile by tapping on the profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Navigate to the “Highlights” section and tap on the three dots next to the highlight you want to delete.
3. Select “Edit Highlight.”
