How to Exit Vanish Mode on Instagram
Instagram’s Vanish Mode is a feature that allows users to send disappearing photos and videos to their friends. It’s a great way to share moments that you don’t want to be saved on your phone. However, if you’ve accidentally enabled Vanish Mode or simply want to exit it, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do so.
1. Open the Instagram app
The first step to exit Vanish Mode is to open the Instagram app on your smartphone. If you’re not already logged in, enter your username and password to access your account.
2. Tap the profile icon
Once you’re logged in, tap the profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page.
3. Tap the three dots in the top right corner
On your profile page, you’ll see three dots in the top right corner. Tap on these dots to open a menu with various options.
4. Select “Manage
From the menu, select “Manage.” This will open a new screen where you can manage your Instagram settings.
5. Tap “Vanish Mode
Scroll down the “Manage” screen until you find the “Vanish Mode” option. Tap on it to access the Vanish Mode settings.
6. Toggle the switch to turn off Vanish Mode
On the Vanish Mode screen, you’ll see a switch that allows you to enable or disable the feature. To exit Vanish Mode, simply toggle the switch to the off position. This will deactivate the feature and you’ll no longer be in Vanish Mode.
7. Confirm your decision
After toggling the switch, you may be prompted to confirm your decision. Tap “OK” to confirm that you want to exit Vanish Mode.
8. Return to your profile
Once you’ve exited Vanish Mode, tap the back button to return to your profile page. You should now be back in your regular Instagram account, and Vanish Mode will no longer be active.
